" 'Operation Mincemeat' [is] the unlikely diamond of the West End. It has everything: an enthralling plot inhabited by surprising characters, a game of egos and justice, a ruse in the ruse, and a cast who deserve to be showered in awards."

"'Operation Mincemeat' is the wittiest, most exciting, and most fun show in the West End right now. It’s impossible not to love this show, it’s incredibly clever and joyous to watch. If you can only see one show in London this year, it should be this one."

"Really, it’s a delight from start to finish. "It is that balance of comedy and heart that is this show’s great strength, and with a couple of new songs and a stronger book, it is better than ever. A brilliant spy thriller, a brilliant comedy, and a brilliant musical all rolled into one, it is exhilarating to see it hit the West End."

"This would have been a five-star review had there not been a slight dimming of energy in an overextended second half that included a cheeky reference to King Charles’s crown and sceptre. My only other complaint is that at times it’s not possible to catch all of the intricate, fast-moving lyrics."

"The aim may have been to make a dumb musical but there is nothing dumb about this cleverly written and flawlessly executed production. Don't be surprised if The Fortune Theatre have another long running show on their hands. God, it’s brilliant!"
