2:22 is a show which keeps you guessing throughout, it’s satisfying to watch whether you know the ending from a previous visit, or not. It’s compelling, hilarious, and surprisingly foxy. Robins’ impeccable writing contains all the aspects of a great thriller and properly fleshed-out characters. Long may 2:22 A Ghost Story continue its domination of the West End stage(s).

The play lacked the quintessential ghost story terror: those seconds that feel like minutes, when you look about a spooky room waiting for a hidden monster to pop up and scare the living daylights out of you. The scary elements were crude and could use refinement, and the plot itself could be more watertight.
