In 1975, a tragic trawler sinking leads to a life-changing night in Reykjavik for its survivors.

In February 1975, the trawler Graham Greene ices up and sinks off the coast of Iceland, claiming the lives of fifteen crew members. This tragic event highlights the harsh realities of trawler fishing.

On a whim, the disliked trawler-owner Donald Claxton travels to Reykjavik to meet the survivors, setting off an evening of drinking, horseplay, romance, and storytelling that will alter their lives forever.
