The charismatic Hotspur begins a rebellion against the king, while Prince Hal, the king's wayward son, indulges in a life of revelry with his roguish friend, John Falstaff. When King Henry's health declines, Hal prepares to assume the throne. His father longs for him to leave his friends from the taverns behind. War is on the horizon. But will Hal ever become a noble King?
