About the Show

A new production of the multi-award-winning pop musical about the danger of underestimating teenage fangirls.

Edna is 14, a misfit, and madly in love with Harry. Only one thing: Harry’s in the world’s biggest boy band and has no idea who Edna is. When his band announces a tour stop in Edna’s hometown, she knows this is her one chance to meet him. But how far is she willing to go to get Harry’s attention?

'Fangirls' is a subversive musical comedy about teenage fangirl culture, and the danger of underestimating young women. It transfers to London after multiple sell-out runs across Australia.

This co-production between Lyric Hammersmith Theatre & Sonia Friedman Productions is recommended for ages 12+.
