London's East End, 1936: 19-year-old Jewish lad Sammy, feisty Irish Catholic baker Mairead, and Lancastrian Ron - all try to find work and live their lives in the melting pot of Cable Street.

One October day, their lives would change forever when the East End showed its ability to stand united in the face of Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists as the Battle of Cable Street was fought - but which side will the youngsters and their families be fighting on?
