United Solo presents its sixth annual international festival for solo performance, the world’s largest, featuring all one-performer shows.
Through a variety of over 40 one-person shows, the United Solo Festival explores and celebrates the uniqueness of the individual. Renowned solo performers as well as new talents bring their works in many categories (e.g. storytelling, puppetry, dance, multimedia, documentary, musical, improv, stand-up, poetry, magic, performance art, drama: tragedy or comedy). Performances include 'Walking Toward America,' a Latvian family’s World War II experiences enduring a labor camp; 'Upstream Swimming,' a comedy exploring same-sex parenting; 'Jazz and Cocktails,' chronicling romantic tales; and 'Do You Know Me,' a story of a woman suffering short term memory loss.
