Hudson Warehouse opens its 14th season of free theater in Riverside Park with a new production of Pierre de Marivaux's classic farce.
Princess Leonide, the niece of a usurping king, falls in love at first sight with Prince Agis, the rightful heir to the throne. So she dresses herself and her handmaiden as men, determined to infiltrate the Prince's retreat in order to gain his affections. Hilariously inappropriate seductions, bribes, and high jinks ensue. All performances are pay what you can, with a basket being passed at the end of each performance.
