In this modern Strindbergian play, a Caucasian European photojournalist from a liberal family goes to Africa for work and falls in love with an African woman. He brings her back to Belgium and marries her, but they're not prepared for the resistance they experience from his relatives and Belgian society. Suddenly, his wife develops a mysterious ailment. Could someone be casting a spell on her?
