RHEOLOGY is the latest work by Obie Award-winning writer and director Shayok Misha Chowdhury, a 2024 Pulitzer Prize Finalist for his acclaimed play Public Obscenities. Running April 22–May 17, 2025, at The Bushwick Starr, this unique performance memoir is co-created and performed with his mother, physicist Bulbul Chakraborty. Together, they merge science and storytelling as an artist son observes his mother’s research into the peculiar behaviors of sand. Through this collaboration, they explore the dynamics of understanding, connection, and the mysterious ways in which things flow.
