The ancient Greek trilogy of plays explores justice in society.
Dating back 2,500 years, this trilogy of ancient Greek tragedies holds foundational importance in Western theatre and remains relevant across centuries. Chronicling the tumultuous events within the infamous House of Atreus, commencing with Agamemnon's murder by his wife Clytemnestra, the Oresteia raises timeless questions about our desired societal ethos: one driven by vindictiveness and revenge or one guided by the principles of law and justice.
The production encompasses the complete Oresteia trilogy. "Agamemnon" takes the stage on Wednesday evenings, "The Libation Bearers" on Thursday evenings, and "The Furies" on Friday evenings. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the full trilogy will be performed.
