About the Show
Since 2000, this annual summer festival has presented a wide array of shows that emphasize imaginative, low-tech staging.
MITF is the brainchild of John Chatterton, creator of OOBR (the Off-Off-Broadway Review). Mr. Chatterton started the Midtown International Theatre Festival as a way to showcase Off-Off-Broadway talent. Participating productions play three performances each during the fest's run.
