An OBIE Award-winning summer festival of new work, featuring seven new shows.
Every summer, exciting downtown companies are invited to present their latest projects. Ice Factory is a place where artists can take risks, try out new ideas, and bring their projects to a new level. This year's pieces include a choral play set during Byzantine Empire, playwright Charles Mee's exploration of outsider artist James Castle, a mash-up of 50s sci-fi, and many others. Each show plays four performances over as many days. For more information, visit the festival's official website.
