Professor Jones faces chaos in a wild comedy set in an elite university's diversity office.
The York’s fall season concludes with Welcome to the Big Dipper, a new musical inspired by true events and adapted from Catherine Filloux’s play All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go. With music and lyrics by Jimmy Roberts (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change), and a book by Filloux and John Daggett (including additional lyrics by Daggett), this heartfelt show takes place in the Big Dipper, a historic inn in Bigelow, New York, near Niagara Falls. Joan Wilkes, whose family has owned the inn for generations, faces the threat of its closure. But when a sudden, fierce blizzard hits, two very different groups of travelers are forced to take refuge under the same roof. Over three eventful days, secrets emerge, young love blossoms, and lives are forever transformed within the inn’s storied walls.
