Two theatre-makers in New York craft what may be their final performance.

The Following Evening is an intimate portrait of two artists creating what may be their final performance together. This unfolds against the backdrop of New York, a metropolis characterized by constant cycles of loss and rebirth.

The production is a distinctive partnership between two pairs of theatre creators from different generations – Ellen Maddow and Paul Zimet from Talking Band, and Abigail Browde and Michael Silverstone from 600 Highwaymen. This poignant new piece serves as a homage to theatre, an ephemeral art form, and the individuals who passionately dedicate themselves to it.

In the past they were usually seen at La MaMa ETC, but the new show is part of the inaugural season at the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) in the black box theater known as Theater C.
