Neavh, a non-binary person in rural South Carolina, has diligently managed the customer service desk at Home Depot for five years. With a growing staff shortage, they hire Chesa, an unmotivated and under-skilled worker. Despite their differences, the two connect emotionally as they navigate queerness in small-town America. Their growing friendship is disrupted when Laurie, a charming lesbian renovating a house with her difficult girlfriend, enters the picture. The three form a chaotic connection that shakes up their lives and challenges their routines.
