Less Dramatic The Notebook

See it if An aging couple with varying levels of memory loss try to remember how they love each other. 1 hour 40 minutes; 1 intermission.

Don't see it if Some slow parts, older actors in love stories, degeneration of mental and physical health, 2 person play aren't your thing. Read more

Entertaining, Great Acting, Relevant, Romantic

See it if The intimate performance had me tearing. Beautiful writing with amazing actors. Many touching moments to which I could relate.

Don't see it if It seems to be written for a mature audience. Many references to the black and white film classics. It may make you tear.

Just Enjoy The Company

See it if Two people talking is so simple and relaxing. If you really get in the weeds, it's Geezers Godot.

Don't see it if The location is not terribly convenient. I don't anticipate any dislike for the show. Read more

Confusing, Delightful, Profound

See it if A fan of Dan Lauria or Patty McCormack. Into a dialogue-heavy play. Delves into dementia in a lighter way.

Don't see it if Slow at times. Confusing.

Confusing, Funny, Indulgent, Romantic, Verbose

See it if you enjoy existential banter (and lots of it) between a man and a woman who may or may not know each other on a park bench.

Don't see it if you don't like a lot of dialogue, wordplay, or sentimental reminiscence about classic movies.

Ambitious

See it if Really great veteran actors and direcion.

Don't see it if I can’t figure it out. Dialogue went on tangents. I was confused.
