"The complaints about hitting that big five-O are not exactly new...But, there are moments in 'Happy 50ish' that really do work...If this show does not call for deep thought, it does ask some difficult questions: Is it better to fight aging or age gracefully and graciously? "'Happy 50ish' is a consistently entertaining and occasionally hilarious distraction from the summer doldrums...The jokes may be hoary, but if they make us laugh at our universal condition, more power to them..Some of this is overly familiar, of course, but that doesn’t prevent your funny bone from being tickled by several seriously funny riffs."

"If you are 50ish or older, or know someone who is, you are going to appreciate this upbeat, hilarious, audience participation musical that will make you laugh and cry at the tragic reality of getting old. Happy 50ish features a remarkably attractive and well-lit set. The sound system is top notch. Mark Vogel as Mike and Lynn Shore as Bob are wonderful actors and singers with great synergy. All the musical numbers are very enjoyable. I guarantee you will leave the show in a good mood."
