A comedy about motherhood, family, and doing what comes naturally.
Max is a single, unemployed lesbian who just gave birth. She also has a house that’s falling apart, an ex on the loose, and no clue how to nurse her newborn. She turns to Goldie, an Orthodox Jewish lactation consultant to guide her into motherhood, despite their conflicting family values.
The production is part of 59E59 Theaters' inaugural VOLT Festival, which this year celebrates the work of playwright Karen Hartman.
The cast includes Blair Baker ('The Humans') and Lauren Molina ('Sweeney Todd').
