A bold new production of the classic Mozart opera, reimagined by director Simon McBurney.

Simon McBurney's acclaimed full-length German-language rendition of Mozart's beloved fable, renowned for its innovative blend of projections, puppetry, and special effects, triumphantly returns to the Metropolitan Opera stage after its highly-praised premiere in 2023.

Tenor Ben Bliss and soprano Golda Schultz embody the roles of the noble lovers Tamino and Pamina, while baritone Thomas Oliemans delivers a vibrant performance as the eccentric bird catcher Papageno. Soprano Kathryn Lewek dazzles once again with her electrifying portrayal of the Queen of the Night, joined by Stephen Milling as the priest Sarastro, under the baton of conductor Evan Rogister.
