Signature Theatre and Manhattan Theatre Club present a new play by Dominique Morisseau (known for Confederates, Paradise Blue, Sunset Baby at Signature; Skeleton Crew at MTC). This powerful world premiere explores cultural identity and its global impact. Simone, a first-generation Haitian American, and her cousin Gigi, who was born and raised in Haiti, come together to fulfill their grandmother's dying wish for them to reconnect. As Simone returns to her ancestral homeland, the cousins are forced to face their differing perspectives and worldviews.
