A brand new musical about growing up between cultures and raising children.
The world premiere of this fast-talking new musical comedy about the dos and don'ts of first-time parenting, mixed race backgrounds, and what makes or breaks your child’s Latinx identity. Written by actor and Hoboken native Gabriel Hernandez, the play follows 30-something Danny as he visits the local children’s playground — with his very cute baby in tow— and strikes up a jovial conversation complete with park bench philosophizing with another parent. Their discussion is sprinkled with wild asides with Danny’s superlative and musical alter egos, MC Plátano, and DJ Quenepa.
