Broadway's classic soulful modernization of The Wizard of Oz returns.

This innovative reimagining of The Wizard of Oz revolutionized Broadway with its soulful, funky score and contemporary take on Dorothy's journey to find her place. Now, the electrifying blend of ballet, jazz, and modern pop is back on Broadway to give an even fresher twist to Dorothy's adventure.

Director Schele Williams (known for The Notebook and Disney’s Aida revival) leads the creative team, including choreographer JaQuel Knight (famous for Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”) and William F. Brown (book). The production also involves talent like Charlie Smalls (music & lyrics), Amber Ruffin (additional material), and Joseph Joubert (music supervision, orchestrations, & music arrangements).
