Inspired by the hit NBC series, Smash is a musical-within-a-musical that follows the chaotic final stretch before opening night of Bombshell, a big-budget Broadway production about the life of Marilyn Monroe. Leading lady Ivy Lynn is buckling under pressure while the creative team scrambles to manage diva antics, casting surprises, and backstage meltdowns—all while trying to get the show on its feet before the curtain rises.

The Broadway production features an all-star team and cast. Directed by five-time Tony Award® winner Susan Stroman (The Producers, Contact), Smash includes a score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Some Like It Hot), a book by Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), and choreography by Smash series choreographer Joshua Bergasse. The cast is led by Broadway favorites, including Robyn Hurder, Brooks Ashmanskas, Krysta Rodriguez, John Behlmann, Kristine Nielsen, and Jacqueline B. Arnold.
