Hip, Holy, Heavy, Heartfelt, Heart-wrenching

See it if You want to feel something you weren't expecting. Emotional ups and downs that overtake you if you remain open to the message and medium.

Don't see it if You aren't willing to open the cracks in your heart and soul and let the light in...plunges very deep into the grief process.

Quirky, Great singing, Great writing, Ambitious, Absorbing

See it if you enjoy singer-songwriter music and aren’t turned off by grief. Riding thru that discomfort led to a beautiful night of theater

Don't see it if You want a big budget, surface-value evening

Resonant, Profound, Intense, Great singing, Absorbing

See it if you love more esoteric shows that feature mostly music.

Don't see it if you are not prepared to process grief. If you don’t like song cycles, or are looking for a traditional musical.

Humane, Refreshing, Quirky, Great singing, Delightful

See it if Artisanal, well-composed folk concert for theater ppl that’s not utter fluff. Less structured than a play, stronger themes than a set list.

Don't see it if looking for a spunky, sassy, blossomy springtime of youth kind of show. Uplifting, but doesn’t underestimate or pigeonhole death & demise. Read more

Beautiful processing of grief through music

See it if Folk couple duo handhold you through grief songs, then lets you explore and process towards the other side of the storms of life.

Don't see it if More folk / alternative music than plot, subjects of grief (death, miscarriage), 2-person show aren't your thing. 2 hours; no intermission. Read more

Great music, Resonant, Touching, Funny, Great singing

See it if You enjoy The Bengsons’ style of experimental folk/indie rock that tells a larger story.

Don't see it if You’re uninterested in songs/stories about grief & death. This is handled with aplomb & humor, but you need to be emotionally open to it.

Vulnerable, Inviting, Quirky, Great singing, Therapeutic

See it if Ethereal almost therapeutic live music performed by 2 talented humans.

Don't see it if It’s not a musical and there isn’t really a plot. Small production that is intimate.
